Slow Travel to Taiwan's Extremes - Westernmost Guoshenggang Lighthouse and Yun-Jia-Nan Multi-faceted Slow Cycling Event

<p>This initiative aims to promote lighthouse tourism, aligning with the "Embrace Mountains, Embrace Seas, Enjoy Cycling Around the Island" policy. It seeks to drive lighthouse tourism through low-carbon travel, integrating various attractions along diverse cycling routes in the Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan (Yun-Jia-Nan) region. These include the Mountain-Sea-Canal Greenway, coastal towns, historical and cultural heritage, diverse landscapes, local cuisine, and unique tourism industries. The plan is to develop marketing highlights for the Yun-Jia-Nan coastal area, establish a cycling tourism brand, and encourage both domestic and international visitors to cycle and explore Taiwan's westernmost point, the Guoshenggang Lighthouse, and the distinctive coastal attractions of Yun-Jia-Nan.</p>
