2026 East Coast Land Art Festival and Moonlight・Sea Concert
都歷遊客中心

The East Coast Land Art Festival is hosted by the East Coast National Scenic Area Administration. With the core concept of "art growing locally," it invites domestic and international artists to create on-site, shaping and showcasing the unique natural and humanistic beauty of the East Coast through the resonance of materials, landscape, and coastline. It allows visitors on their journey, through art, to experience the daily rhythm and scenery of the East Coast and find their own moment of pause here.

Three main pillars of the Art Festival:
1. On-site Art Creation: Works are completed on-site in various coastal locations, allowing art to blend into the mountain and sea environment and echoing the local rhythm of life and cultural context.
2. Moonlight・Sea Concert: Accompanied by moonlight and the sound of tides, with the coast as the stage and the starry sky as the backdrop, performers are invited to resonate with the venue to pay tribute to the sea, creating the unique leisurely poetic charm of the East Coast.
3. Arts and Culture Platform "Art Chain Initiative": Connecting art spaces and practitioners in the Hualien-Taitung area that have not yet been widely recognized, guiding travelers to discover local creative energy at a gentler pace through various forms of exhibitions, performances, exchanges, and visits.

Through these three themes, every year, many people follow the footsteps of the art festival back to the East Coast, as if on a small pilgrimage with the sea, the land, and oneself, quietly feeling where life and art meet. The art festival uses cultural tourism as a medium to gather local and international artistic energy, making every journey to the coast not just observation, but a shared, empathetic, and co-creative experience with the East Coast.

[2026 Moonlight・Sea Concert Dates]
▌ June 21 (Sun) ▌ June 22 (Mon)
▌ July 30 (Thu) ▌ July 31 (Fri)
▌ August 29 (Sat) Ticketed event ▌ August 30 (Sun)
▌ September 28 (Mon) ▌ September 29 (Tue)

■ Event Venue: Dulan Visitor Center
■ Event Address: No. 25, Xincun Rd., Xinyi Village, Chenggong Township, Taitung County (Dulan Site, at 125.5K on Provincial Highway 11)

Please refer to the event website for details
