2026 Beigang Lantern Festival

<p>Beigang residents are nurtured and grow up in the cradle of Mazu. The annual grand celebration of welcoming Mazu at Chaotian Temple during the Lantern Festival is like a second New Year for the people of Beigang. In the 54th year of the Republic (1965 AD), the first Lantern Festival lantern exhibition was held at Beigang Chaotian Temple, which further sparked a nationwide enthusiasm for lantern festivals.</p>
