2026 Yuejin Port Lantern Festival

<p>The Yuejin Port Lantern Festival is unique among Taiwan's many lantern festivals, being the only one to win the German Red Dot Design Award and hailed as the most artistic and high-quality lantern festival in Taiwan.</p><p>The Yuejin Port Lantern Festival takes the Yuejin Port in Yanshui, Tainan—historically known as 'First Tainan, Second Lukang, Third Wanhua, Fourth Yuejin'—as its exhibition venue. Its unique characteristic is to leverage the rehabilitated landscape of Yuejin Port, integrating rich local cultural heritage with innovative art. Local and international art teams are invited to utilize the local lake and waterfront scenery to enhance the artistic lanterns, creating a stunning and unique visual experience for the festival, and also serving as a platform for nurturing emerging artists.</p><p>During the event, as dusk falls and the colorful artistic lanterns light up, Yuejin Port transforms into a brilliant and radiant spectacle, like a night art museum, shining on the river surface.
