The Keelung Zhongyuan Festival originated in 1855 and is Taiwan's largest Zhongyuan Festival. It is not only one of Taiwan's oldest folk festivals but also the first festival to be designated as a 'Significant Folk Custom' category national cultural asset. The event lasts for an entire month.
