2026 Kaohsiung Zuoying Wannian Festival

<p>The Wannian Festival, held annually in mid-October at Zuoying's Lotus Pond, has been celebrated since Republic Era year 90 (2001 AD). It is planned by leveraging Zuoying's unique natural landscapes (Lotus Pond and the surrounding temples) and combining special local customs (Bombing the Cannon Fort and Welcoming the Fire Lion). Due to the event's highly distinctive local character, it attracts a large number of visitors every year and has developed into an important folk culture and tourism festival in the city.</p>
