2026 Taichung Jazz Festival

<p>The Taichung Jazz Festival showcases diverse musical forms through open-space performances characterized by free improvisation. It reflects Taichung City's relaxed and leisurely urban lifestyle and cultural features, attracting the public to participate in outdoor arts and leisure activities, and fostering the development of surrounding businesses and the leisure tourism industry. Since its inception in 2003, the festival runs for at least 9 days, features a top-tier outdoor theater-style stage, and is centered around Civic Square and Calligraphy Greenway. It attracts millions of attendees annually and has become one of Asia's four major jazz festivals, alongside those in Tokyo, Bangkok, and Seoul.</p>
