The album "Where is Spring?" was released in 2006. The children who babbled along to the album's songs back then have now grown into adults. For many years, "Where is Spring?" has remained the first Taiwanese children's song many children learn. Fifteen years later, lyricist and composer Huang Ching-ya pondered, "Could 'Where is Spring?' become children's first Taiwanese storybook?" As a result, the lively and tenderly narrated "Where is Spring?" picture book, told in a mother tongue, was born in 2021. In addition to a new instrumental version and an online musical story production again created by the original arranger Hsieh Han-yang, renowned hosts Shao Da-lun and Chen La-la, along with the mother tongue education co-learning group "Holding Children's Hands, Walking the Taiwanese Path," were invited to participate in the recording and performance. The following year, Ju Tou Pi Jazz Band included a jazz-rock version of 'Where is Spring?' in their album 'Defrosting the Fridge During Epidemic Prevention,' which was nominated for the 2022 Golden Indie Awards—this was akin to the song's 'coming-of-age ceremony at sixteen.'
