February 27 – March 16, 2026. The 2026 Taiwan International Orchid Show will be open daily at the Floral Innovation Park, Ministry of Agriculture (No. 325, Wushulin, Changan Village, Houbi District, Tainan City). This year marks the 22nd edition of the Taiwan International Orchid Show. For the first time, it is co-hosting with the 'Floral Technology Exhibition,' presenting two exhibitions simultaneously under the theme 'Blooming Taiwan,' symbolizing the continuous breakthrough, regeneration, and blooming of Taiwan's floral industry. The Bureau of Agriculture stated that this year's exhibition features diverse highlights, with each exhibition area presenting different facets of floral charm. Four main themed halls are planned: 'Blooming Hall,' 'Floral Splendor Hall,' 'Connectivity & Lifestyle Hall,' and 'Market Hall.' Among these, inkjet orchids infused with works by famous painters such as Monet, Van Gogh, and Hokusai showcase the technological aesthetics of Taiwanese orchids and are expected to be the most anticipated highlight of this spring. The 'Blooming Hall' utilizes naked-eye 3D technology combined with the mascot 'Orchid Beast' to create an immersive exhibition experience. The 'Floral Splendor Hall' brings together thousands of excellent domestic and international orchids, hosting international competitions, award-winning flower displays, and commercial variety exhibitions, showcasing world-class breeding achievements and market trends. The 'Connectivity Hall' features a business negotiation area, integrating display, matchmaking, and negotiation functions to build an international B2B platform. It also provides one-stop export quarantine services to assist overseas buyers in completing their purchases. Furthermore, the 'Happiness Market' is based on the core concept of bringing flowers back into daily life, creating an orchid exhibition and sales space close to the public. It gathers high-quality orchid vendors and horticultural brands from across the nation, planning over 90 exhibition and sales booths. It offers diverse orchid varieties, floral designs, and gardening materials, allowing visitors, in addition to appreciating flowers, to also experience the joy of purchasing, taking home, and learning. The 'Floral Technology Exhibition,' debuting concurrently, takes 'technological art' as its curatorial theme, integrating AI smart applications to present the innovative charm of flowers merged with technology. Exhibition areas include 'Pulse of the Isle of Kun,' which features a 65-meter giant curved projection and interactive glow sticks, instantly presenting magnificent scenes of blooming flowers and whale movements in real-time with the audience. 'Floating Whalescape' creates a three-dimensional space with naked-eye 3D images intertwined with water mist. 'Floral & Butterfly Dance' combines physical floral art with AI digital butterflies to create a poetic space where virtual and reality merge. Visitors can personally experience the charm of technological interaction and artistic fusion here, and feel the innovative strength of Taiwan's floral industry.
