2026 Heping District Atayal Language Song Contest and Cultural Event

The event "Music of the Homeland, Soaring in Heping" was originally scheduled to take place on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the 1st floor of the Guguan Multi-story Parking Lot in Heping District. However, due to recent unstable weather conditions, and to ensure the safety of participants and the smooth progress of the event, the venue has been adjusted to the "Songhe Activity Center, Heping District, Taichung City" (Address: No. 5-3, Songhe 3rd Lane, Section 1, Dongguan Road, Bo'ai Village, Heping District, Taichung City). The "2026 Heping District Atayal Language Song Contest Cultural Event" will grandly commence on Friday, June 5, 2026! Event Date: Friday, June 5, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Event Venue: Songhe Activity Center, Heping District, Taichung City. To promote the inheritance of Atayal language and culture, and to foster indigenous cultural exchange and performances, this event is jointly organized by schools, churches, communities, and cultural health stations in the district. It will feature activities such as Atayal language song contests, cultural performances, and achievement displays, thereby showcasing the indigenous cultural characteristics and achievements in language inheritance of the district.
