2026 Dragon Boat Festival Event: "Intangible Cultural Heritage – An In-depth Cultural Experience of the Tamsui Qingshui Temple Procession"

The "Tamsui Qingshui Temple Qingshui Zushi Procession" is categorized as 'Folklore' within New Taipei City's Intangible Cultural Heritage. It is also a significant annual folk event in Tamsui, commonly known as the "Tamsui Grand Festival". To help the public understand the procession culture and local beliefs, the Tamsui Historical Museum has launched two activities: "Painting the Faces of a Hundred Generals" and "Historical Night Tour". Through face painting and historical guided tours, participants can experience the unique characteristics of Tamsui's folk culture.
