Since 2002, to support plum farmers in Nantou after the 921 earthquake and promote ceramic culture, the 'Spring Plums in Jars' - DIY Crispy Plum Pickling event was launched, combining carefully selected green plums with specially designed plum jars. The event has now reached its 22nd edition and has expanded into the 'Sanying Spring Tour' series of activities starting from 2024.
