Xinmei Fun Screenings × Taiwan International Children's Film Festival

'Xinmei Fun Screenings' is the inaugural film festival event launched by the New Taipei City Museum of Art Exploration Base. Co-curated with the 'Taiwan International Children's Film Festival,' organized by Public Television Service (PTS), the festival will simultaneously open on March 27. To embody the New Taipei Museum of Art's philosophy of encouraging creative experimentation and advocating sustainable values, and to echo the rich natural ecology of the museum park, this film festival is themed around 'environmental sustainability, arts and culture, and life education,' with 10 units scheduled for rotating screenings. In addition to a selection of outstanding short films from previous 'Taiwan International Children's Film Festivals,' the festival also incorporates the achievements of the 'Little Directors, Big Dreams Workshop' image education program, which has long been promoted by PTS. This program encourages children to propose filmmaking ideas and provides guidance from professional teams to complete their productions, allowing children to realize their imagination and express their perspectives through creative work.
