New Taipei City boasts over 120 kilometers of diverse and rich coastline. Daily marine activities in this region, such as foraging, fishing, and navigation, have accumulated valuable cultural assets and collective memories for all its people. This special exhibition aims to explore the humanistic connotations and ecological sustainability of Taiwan's and Korea's marine cultures, grounded in New Taipei City's rich marine ecology and diverse cultural landscapes, combined with archaeological research, and connected to contemporary life. Through the intertwining of history and modernity, the exhibition highlights New Taipei City's marine cultural heritage and its significance for transmission, while fostering intergenerational cultural understanding and local identity.
