When

Mar 31 - May 31, 2026

Daylilies, also known as 'xuancao', were traditionally called the 'mother's flower'. In recent years, the daylilies at Hushanyan in Huatan have become immensely popular. Blooming fully around May each year, they offer the most fitting floral spectacle for Mother's Day, attracting numerous visitors. This beautiful sea of flowers, widely shared on social media, has become one of the most iconic tourist attractions in western Taiwan. Visitors flock to the flower fields, which are expected to be in full bloom around Mother's Day, with the blooming season lasting for two months. Visitors can also explore nearby attractions in northern Changhua and enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food.
