Emei Lakeside Tea Ceremony

The Emei Lakeside Tea Ceremony event takes place at the lakeside platform next to Ximaopu Suspension Bridge in Emei Township, Hsinchu County. Tea lovers are invited to register and savor Oriental Beauty Tea, which is not only paired with tea chocolate but also accompanied by the melodious sounds of erhu and guzheng music. On-site, a farmers' market offers local specialty foods such as Oriental Beauty Tea beverages, ponkan orange milk bread (nama shokupan), Hakka vegetable buns, and more. This event continues the tourism ecosystem goal set by Tourism Bureau Director-General Chen Yu-hsiu: 'moving tourists, benefiting local communities, and ensuring industrial sustainability.' It brings together local tea farmers, tea masters, and performance teams to create an immersive cultural feast combining a tea ceremony, farmers' market, and music performance, thereby aiming to increase the utilization of the lakeside platform. In 2026 (Year 115 of the Republic of China calendar), the 3rd Emei Lakeside Tea Ceremony will be held during Emei Lake's most beautiful spring season, when the Golden Trumpet Trees are in full bloom. At that time, all tea enthusiasts nationwide who love Oriental Beauty Tea are welcome to reunite at Ximaopu Suspension Bridge.
