Valley Light Festival

The Valley Light Festival is one of the key events organized by the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area Administration. Held annually from December to January, coinciding with Christmas and New Year, the festival features light installations in Lishan and Guguan to create a festive holiday atmosphere. It attracts visitors to Heping District to enjoy the lights, watch performances, and travel, as well as experience the local hot spring resources, savor seasonal agricultural products, go mountain hiking, and engage in tribal tourism. This year, the Guguan light display will run from November 29, 2025, to January 11, 2026, while the Lishan light display will be from December 21, 2025, to January 25, 2026.
