The Brilliance of Carving: Zhang Xuhui's Chiseled Woodcarving Exhibition

Zhang Xuhui specializes in wood carving and chiseled carving techniques. For over fifty years, his works have graced temples across Taiwan, including Mailiao Gungfan Temple, Xiluo Fuxing Temple, and the ceremonial palanquins and cultural artifacts of Beigang Chaotian Temple, a dedication spanning 35 years. He has also been involved in the restoration of Beigang Jiya Xuan's decorative plaques and drum pavilion, which are registered cultural assets by the Ministry of Culture and county-designated historical sites. In 2016, Yunlin County nominated him as a 'Preserver of Wood Carving and Chiseled Art Techniques.' To pass on his craft, he established training courses at Beigang Guangming Study House, showcasing his exquisite skills.
