The Cosmos in Your Palm: Yunlin Glove Puppetry Museum Permanent Exhibition

Location: 1F Permanent Exhibition Area, Yunlin Glove Puppetry Museum Exhibition Period: Starting January 2, 2025 Yunlin is the birthplace of Taiwanese glove puppetry. This traditional performing art, popular for over a century, has continuously evolved with the times thanks to the dedicated efforts of numerous local artists and troupes. Through the 'Mastering the Cosmos in Your Palms' exhibition, which showcases the museum's collection of puppets and artifacts, we aim to deepen visitors' understanding of Yunlin's role in promoting glove puppetry culture, and allow first-time visitors to experience the ingenuity and fun of glove puppetry. ◎ Hands-on exhibits include: (1) Motion-sensing Glove Puppetry (interactive photo experience) (2) Puppets and Their Origins (touchscreen) (3) Demonstration of Five Tones in Puppetry Dialogue (touchscreen) (4) AR Interactive Mobile Filter (for Instagram)
