Visitor Essentials
Yuanquan Train Station is located in the southeast of Ershui Township, Changhua County. It has a long history and is one of the earliest train stations on the Taiwan Railways (TRA) Jiji Line. Yuanquan itself is a small, sparsely populated village. However, Yuanquan Station boasts a small, clean station building, a quiet and quaint atmosphere, and is situated midway along the Ershui Cycling Path. It still attracts many railway enthusiasts and tourists who come to take photos and sightsee. The Jiji Line was established in 1922. It was originally used for transporting timber. With the decline of the forestry industry, it gradually transitioned to passenger transport services.
