Jinsha Tianhou Temple

The Jinsha Tianhou Temple is located within the Jinsha village in Nangan and is one of the most important centers of faith for local residents, primarily worshipping Mazu, the Heavenly Holy Mother. Although the temple's scale is not large, its architectural style is elegant, and incense offerings are abundant, blending seamlessly with the ancient village landscape of the Jinsha fishing village. The temple faces the sea and is backed by a cluster of stone houses. Together with the surrounding traditional alleys and granite buildings, it forms a unique cultural landscape, serving as an important site for understanding Mazu's island faith and fishing village history.
