The Liuqiu Management Station and Visitor Center is a three-story building situated on a hillside next to Baisha Tourist Harbor. Due to the slope, the main entrance is on the second floor. The lobby features a tourist information desk where dedicated staff provide real-time travel consultation services, as well as dynamic and static tourism guidance facilities. It also includes a large presentation (conference) room that can accommodate 75 people, offering services for large meetings and guided tours for groups. Outdoors, there is an entrance plaza, a sea-view platform, and a shop. The first floor houses the management station's offices and is not open to visitors, but the outdoor viewing platform is available for visitors to rest and enjoy views of Baisha Tourist Harbor and the beautiful seascape. The third floor is a dormitory area, also not open to the public. The Liuqiu Management Station and Visitor Center's predecessor was the Liuqiu Township Library, originally built in 1995. Subsequently, Liuqiu Township was incorporated into the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area's management scope in 2000. Due to the initial difficulty in acquiring land within Liuqiu Township, the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration borrowed part of the Liuqiu Township Library's space from the Liuqiu Township Office to serve as a temporary office for the management station and visitor center. However, to enhance recreational service quality and cope with the annual growth in visitor numbers to the Liuqiu Scenic Area, the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area Administration obtained the township office's consent in 2009 to acquire the Liuqiu Township Library's land and buildings through a compensated appropriation, planning to renovate it into a permanent Liuqiu Management Station and Visitor Center. After renovation, it officially opened in 2012. Its overall appearance features red tiles and white walls, showcasing a distinct island style while also incorporating composite architectural elements such as European-inspired spire roofs, columns, and veranda designs. This makes the management station building unique, distinctly different from other structures on Liuqiu Island, and thus it has become a new local landmark.
