Rainbow Starting Line

In September 2020, Taipei's second dazzling rainbow landmark, the "Rainbow Starting Line," was unveiled in eastern Taipei! It is located in front of Taipei City Hall at Citizen Square. This rainbow landmark extends from the City Hall towards the City Council, cleverly designed like a starting line on a runway, symbolizing the starting point of a journey towards happiness. It not only reaffirms Taipei City's original commitment to promoting gender equality but also echoes the Taiwan Pride Parade, which commences in front of the City Hall every year. The rainbow landmark seems to embody everyone's expectations and enthusiasm, encouraging people to take firm steps in front of the City Hall, steadily moving forward on the path to happiness.
