Jutart Museum was established in 2016, marking an important milestone in the promotion of architectural culture in Taiwan, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of JUT Group and the 10th anniversary of JUT Foundation. Jutart Museum aspires to be a new type of think tank, catalyst, and platform that shoulders corporate social responsibility and responds to the needs of 21st-century society; continuing the "A better tomorrow" belief of the JUT Architectural Culture and Art Foundation, and becoming Taiwan's first museum to focus on the themes of "future" and "cities." Located in the Taipei metropolitan area, Jutart Museum was also the venue for the Foundation's first "Tomorrow Museum" exhibition. After a decade of nomadic exhibitions and performances throughout the city, it has returned to its starting point to take root and become "a museum at the heart of the city and life." As a young, new museum, Jutart Museum will be an interdisciplinary institution exploring the future. Future programming will focus on three main directions: "Future Issues," "Urban Architecture," and "Contemporary Art." The interior space of Jutart Museum was designed by Japanese master architect Jun Aoki, while the visual identity system was designed by Atsuki Kikuchi, marking their first collaborative museum project in Taiwan. With its sophisticated yet robust taste and youthful, avant-garde vitality, Jutart Museum is set to become a new landmark for architecture and cultural art in Taipei, invigorating the city's cultural vibrancy.
