Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park

Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park is located on the Keelung River, between Chenggong Bridge and Macarthur No. 1 Bridge (on the Neihu side). Every holiday, every few meters, you'll find groups of people intently adjusting the gadgets in their hands. A closer look reveals electric remote control cars, digital SLR cameras, and more – and the adults are often having even more fun than the kids! The park offers numerous sports facilities, including tennis courts, basketball courts, softball practice fields, roller skating rinks, pull-up bars, and fitness equipment, providing Taipei citizens with more spaces for exercise. Connecting the Chengmei Left and Right Bank Parks is the 'Rainbow Bridge'. Its vibrant red body and unique design make it look like a rainbow arching over the river. Beneath the bridge, the cycling path is wide, and the riverbank retaining walls are covered in green vines. The base of the wall also features a wave-like design, echoing the Rainbow Bridge. Elevators at both ends of the Rainbow Bridge provide direct access to the levee top, making it convenient for people with disabilities, the elderly, and those with strollers to avoid strenuous climbing. This barrier-free design is very thoughtful. A bicycle ramp is also installed in the middle of the stairs, allowing cyclists to easily pass between both ends. From Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park, you can also capture panoramic views of Taipei 101 against a blue sky with white clouds. After nightfall, the Keelung River shimmers, creating a harmonious scene, making it a popular gathering spot for many photography enthusiasts.
