Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center

The Taiwan Traditional Theatre Center is an exhibition and performance venue of the National Center for Traditional Arts located in Taipei. The National GuoGuang Opera Company, Taiwan Chinese Orchestra, and Taiwan Music Institute are resident here, making it the first professional theatre in Taiwan to host resident troupes, serving purposes such as arts and cultural performances, art education, and cultural leisure. Its architectural style embraces the aesthetics of traditional opera, simple and expressive yet imbued with infinite possibilities. It reinterprets the traditional 'one table, two chairs' element, transforming it into a refined, classic, and stylish new form, actively exploring contemporary interpretations of traditional opera that evolve with the times.
