The public art piece "The Realm of Heaven and Humanity" stands outside the Nangang Exhibition Center. It is as if civilization has received the sweet spring of life, nourishing empty souls, allowing them to joyfully step forth with beautifully rhythmic paces. Two massive hands, one pointing to the earth and the other to the sky. Where the fingers meet is the threshold between heaven and humanity. The colorful rings represent infinity and boundless extension. This interface between heaven and humanity can be billions of kilometers away, separated by millennia of time and space, where one might exert a lifetime of effort yet achieve not an inch of progress. Yet, it can also be a path as clear and unobstructed as from the azure sky to the yellow springs, allowing one to traverse boundless space and time, spanning centuries and millennia, in the blink of an eye. Nine overlapping rings of colorful kiln-fired glass separate the natural world from the civilized world. This interface, conceptually akin to works like "Between Thoughts" and "Infinite Self and Object," with its circular forms and colors, resonates with the rhythm of "Song of the Four Seasons" and "Dance of Life," providing the perfect concluding interpretation for the entire artistic concept. Some achieve instant enlightenment, while others leave echoes in the sorrowful wind. Answers are myriad, yet only through civilization's full understanding and harmony with nature can civilization itself extend into infinity.
