Beimen MRT Station, Taipei Railway Bureau

Beimen MRT Station, part of the Songshan Line, is located on Tacheng Street. It is a four-story underground station, approximately 171 meters long, 32 meters wide, with an excavation depth of about 32 meters. The station features 3 entrances/exits, 2 ventilation shafts, and 2 accessible elevators. During the design of the Songshan MRT Line, a broad concept of public art, representing the cultural and environmental characteristics of the area, was integrated through architectural and landscape design. This involved creating various distinctive styles, presented to the public through specific color schemes, main themes, and sub-themes. The design concept for Beimen Station, titled 'Embracing Grace, Inspiring Aspirations,' aims to capture the essence of humanistic spirit and echo historical traces.
