Huajiang Waterfowl Nature Park

The vast sandbar wetland near Huajiang Bridge has long been a habitat for many migratory birds. Every year, from September to April, thousands of geese, ducks, and waders, among other bird species, come to visit. To enhance ecological conservation education and promotion, a large-scale birdwatching event, the Waterfowl Season, is held annually during the migratory bird season. Interpretive guides are stationed on weekends and holidays to assist visitors. Huajiang Waterfowl Nature Park is situated outside the levee. The primary bird observation areas are located within Huajiang Waterfowl Park and Huazhong Riverside Park, which offer excellent facilities, making it convenient for the public to observe the ecological environment. Near Huajiang Bridge, the river surface is very wide. From here, you can see the entirety of Banqiao City, with the hazy urban landscape nestled against the green aquatic plants and the light blue river, creating a harmonious scene where human development and nature coexist.
