Visitor Essentials
Historical sites and historic buildings can be seen everywhere on campus. The overall campus planning features a distinct east-west axial design. The Royal Palm Boulevard is lined with royal palm trees, with azaleas nearby, and camphor trees and junipers between the boulevard and the school buildings. Walking along the Royal Palm Boulevard, the green canopy on both sides arches over the sunrise, creating a feeling of embarking on a promising path, making it a very unique sunrise spot within the city. Near the College of Agriculture, there are many gardens with aquatic plants, vegetables, fruits, and herbs. The experimental farm also offers interesting ecological restoration observations. The alleys near the campus are lined with both mainstream and independent bookstores, imbuing the area around NTU with a strong cultural and intellectual atmosphere that is further enhanced by the accompanying cafe culture.
