Dajia Riverside Park

Dajia Riverside Park is located in Zhongshan District, nestled between Zhongshan Bridge and Dazhi Bridge. It is an urban green park developed and constructed by the city government after the Keelung River was straightened. The park covers a vast area; upon entering, visitors are greeted by an expansive, boundless lawn, offering beautiful scenery and a distant view of the Miramar Ferris wheel. The park features five major play areas and a bicycle rental zone, each with unique characteristics. The dual zip-line area includes both single-point and seated zip lines, allowing children to experience different kinds of fun. The inclusive sandbox area offers slides, climbing facilities, a sandbox, and a shaded area for parents to relax. The hill slide play area boasts 8 terrazzo slides, a climbing net, and pull ropes, ensuring everyone gets a chance to play on a slide. The swing and octopus-dolphin landscape area features 5 unique swings, a large octopus landscape, balance beams, spherical hiding spots, and various other play equipment. The children's splash park is open annually from June to September, equipped with charming and fun water features like large circles, columns, and giant flowers. It also boasts a large water feature with a central jet reaching up to 75 meters, showcasing dynamic movement through visual variations in water height and intensity. The park also includes a sports park with facilities for basketball, tennis, badminton, and croquet, as well as several kilometers of cycling paths circling the park (bicycle rentals are available within the park). Due to its spacious grounds, convenient parking, and beautiful environment, Dajia Riverside Park attracts many people for recreation and exercise on holidays and weekends. It also periodically hosts various large-scale events, showcasing the vibrant and energetic side of Taipei City.
