Visitor Essentials

The Taipei Hakka Cultural Park spans approximately 4.03 hectares, situated in a prime location between Tingzhou Road and Shida Road. It boasts rich natural ecology and cultural heritage, serving as a hub for citizens to learn about Hakka culture and a recreational space. It also provides a place for Hakka communities in metropolitan Taipei to gather, interact, and share their living memories. The park complex includes three main buildings: the "Hakka Culture Center," "Music and Drama Center," and "Hakka Village Life Hall." Indoors, it offers diverse services such as art creation spaces, thematic exhibitions, music and drama performances, various courses, parent-child activities, unique cafes, and Hakka cuisine (specialty restaurants). Outdoors, facilities include a Fude Shrine (Earth God Temple), a Jinzitang (Respect for Written Word Pavilion), tea hills and rice paddies, ecological waterways, waterwheels, and rural experience zones. The park also cultivates a variety of seasonal Hakka crops, promoting organic agricultural products and food education. An elevated platform within the park connects to the riverside, featuring comfortable pedestrian and cycling paths. This platform links the Hakka Cultural Park, NTU Shuiyuan Campus, riverside green spaces, the Gongguan commercial district, and the Treasure Hill Artist Village, creating an aqua-friendly tourist axis that forms a new waterside world in Gongguan. This allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in an aqua-friendly environment that combines culture, leisure, and tourism.
