Zai Geng Yuan - Dragonfly Glass Bead Workshop

Zai Geng Yuan, located in Chiayi City, is an integrated park for people with disabilities, commissioned by the Chiayi City Government and managed by Chiayi Christian Hospital. Within Zai Geng Yuan, the Dragonfly Glass Bead Workshop is a creative hub where glass bead artisans, after a year of arduous professional training and with subsidies from the Chiayi City Government and the Council of Labor Affairs, develop their craft. The workshop actively develops new products and, by integrating with the Chiayi City Government's 'Taiwan Kyoto' branding, successfully promotes Zai Geng Yuan's dragonfly glass bead creations internationally. These creations have become a representative craft of Chiayi, known as the 'Pearl of Chiayi'. Currently, five artisans (people with disabilities) work in the workshop, developing a variety of jewelry and gift items. Recently, they successfully launched products made from glass materials, including signature pens, necklaces, earrings, brooches, and photo frames, and are now officially accepting orders for production and sales.
