Powerhouse Wood Carving Exhibition Hall (Under Renovation)

Formerly Chiayi City's earliest thermal power plant, it was also Chiayi City's first steel-reinforced concrete (SRC) structure building, completed in 1913. It was one of the early buildings in Taiwan to utilize new architectural techniques, featuring a rare design with high ceilings and a large span. Currently, this historical building is being renovated and repurposed as a wood carving exhibition space.
