Mysterious and heavy ancient cannon relics. These twelve ancient cannons were relocated to the current site in 1975. The inscription on one of the cannon barrels is clearly visible, which reads: 'Autumn of the 12th year of Jiaqing, commissioned by the Governor-General of Min-Zhe and the Governor of Fujian, manufactured for the Left Battalion of the Taiwan Naval Force, one grand cannon weighing one thousand jin.' The origin of these ancient cannons is currently undocumented. They might be related to Wang Delu, a naval admiral from Chiayi, or they could be the ancient cannons originally deployed at the East, South, and Northwest city gates. Casting Date: 12th year of Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty (1807 AD).
