Gangnan Canal Park

To re-attract citizens to high-quality waterfront spaces, the city government launched the "Gangnan Canal Waterfront Redevelopment Project" in 2018. The project focused on three major goals: prioritizing ecology, landscape regeneration, and creating a water-friendly environment. The scenic area on the north side of the park has been transformed into a children's paradise, incorporating unique inclusive play equipment such as climbing nets and balance beams. The south side features a leisure waterfront promenade and water-friendly wooden platforms, as well as an infinity sunset viewing platform for visitors to admire beautiful sunsets and sea views. The area also includes a bicycle station and a children's balance bike zone. To maintain the overall environment, barbecuing is prohibited throughout the Gangnan Canal Scenic Area.
