Haishan Fishing Port

Planning a summer vacation in Hsinchu with a focus on the sea? Hsinchu City has two fishing ports: Haishan Fishing Port and Hsinchu Fishing Port. Haishan Fishing Port's fishery development is somewhat limited by tidal influences. However, it boasts a vast ocean-viewing platform where you can truly see an authentic horizon, with the sea meeting the sky. This platform, about one story high, offers excellent views of the wetland oyster farms and coastal scenery, with the entire panorama of Xiangshan Wetland visible. Unlike the noisy crowds of Hsinchu Fishing Port, Haishan Fishing Port radiates a tranquil charm, allowing visitors to unwind and spend time without any pressure. After all, a summer vacation with a bit of a tan truly feels like a summer vacation! Haishan Fishing Port is located in a significant part of Hsinchu's Xiangshan Wetland and is also known as the Haishan Exploration Zone. It is a large area of newly reclaimed land and the largest wetland in Northern Taiwan. The ocean-viewing platform here is about one story high, and from it, visitors can observe the wetland oyster farms, the beautiful coastal landscape, and the complete panorama of the Xiangshan Wetland.
