Moat

The moat is located in the city center, adjacent to the train station square and connected to the East Gate. It forms a waterfront recreational zone in the city center by connecting various points to create an integrated area. In 2016, groundwater was introduced into the moat along the Zhongyang Road and Shijie Street sections, and aquatic plants were planted. Additionally, accessible ramps were added, and stepping stones were installed, scattered in the middle of the river, along with an open-air circular arts and cultural stage, enhancing the city's 'water and green' spaces. In 2020, following the principle of 'restoring the old as it was,' outdated facilities along the moat banks from Linsen Road to Zhongyang Road were renovated.
