In 2008, it was reorganized under the Council for Cultural Affairs, Executive Yuan, and renamed the National Hsinchu Living Arts Center. It is a level-four institution under the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts. Over the years, the center has been dedicated to cultivating an aesthetic environment. Through renovations, the building has become more welcoming and lush with greenery. It has also actively promoted various innovative initiatives, fostering cultural and artistic roots, and taking on the important responsibility of promoting life aesthetics in Northern Taiwan.
