Construction: Date of construction unknown. Completion: Shōwa 3 (1928). The building is a single-story brick structure. Its main hall houses an ancestral shrine with ancestral tablets, which record that its ancestors originated from Qingling Village, Heping County, Zhangzhou Prefecture. In front of the altar, the family name He is inscribed with the ancestral hall name [Lushan Yanpai]. On the pillars of the front porch, a couplet is inscribed: 'May the source flow far and wide, its branches endure for a hundred generations; May offerings be fragrant and pure, forever cherished through a thousand autumns.' The building's structure and painted sections are well-preserved. The roof truss of the He residence belongs to the common 'chuandou' (post-and-lintel) style found in residential buildings in the Chiayi-Tainan Plain region, adopting a 'twelve-frame, six-gui' configuration. It possesses significant symbolic meaning representative of its era. Therefore, it has been registered as a historic building in this county.
