In 1984, introduced by a Western restaurant bartender, founder Mr. Hong Ming-bao embarked on the journey of creating his own coffee brand. During the initial period, as a complete novice, he bravely carried only a thermos full of coffee, traveling to restaurants and supermarkets across various counties and cities to promote his brand. His sole purpose was to make major retailers recognize his self-created brand, setting a record of visiting the same client sixty times! Eventually, the client agreed to cooperate and became one of today's most loyal long-term customers. In 1989, he officially established his own brand, "Pin Huang Coffee," successfully securing a significant position in the cross-strait coffee market. Drinking coffee has evolved from its early luxurious status into today's popular beverage. As market demand steadily rises, knowing how to select quality coffee and brew a good cup is crucial. Therefore, the "Pin Huang Coffee Museum" was established to impart more professional coffee knowledge and skills. Upon entering the museum, you'll be greeted by an avenue of Golden Mandheling coffee beans. Accompanied by the aroma of coffee, you'll be led into the coffee knowledge zone, starting from the birth of a coffee tree. Learn about coffee origins, coffee cultures worldwide, coffee equipment, and the best brewing methods. Afterward, enjoy tasting daily selected beverages on Taiwan's only revolving train tasting platform, savoring a leisurely and pleasant time. On the second floor, stroll along the aerial production process corridor, where you can see the machinery used to produce coffee beans. If you're lucky, you might even witness the coffee roasting process, gaining a thorough understanding of the industrial journey of a coffee bean from green bean to various coffee-related products. On your way out, don't forget to purchase an exquisite hand-cranked coffee maker to meticulously drip-brew your own coffee.
