The Chinese Folk Culture Village is located in Zhongpu Township, Chiayi County. It was established through the redevelopment of the former Wufeng Memorial Park and is a theme park along the Alishan Highway. The entire park covers an area of approximately 12 hectares. Its Southern Min-style landscape garden, imbued with ancient charm, elegance, and grace, is harmoniously combined with the allure of European gardens and traditional classical colors. The scenery within the park, with its shimmering waters and picturesque mountains, is truly poetic and beautiful. The 'Chongren' and 'Shangyi' halls are the main buildings. Chongren Hall focuses on themes of loyalty, filial piety, fraternity, and trustworthiness, displaying ancient folk arts such as carvings, pottery sculptures, dough art, paintings, and paper umbrellas. The Folk Culture Hall houses a rich collection of historically valuable folk artworks. The Wax Figure Museum vividly replicates the lifestyles of early Taiwanese settlers and indigenous peoples. The Cinema can be used by organizations and for film screenings. Furthermore, the nation's first palace-style floating stage is elegant and magnificent; when it opens at night, the colorful lights reflecting on the water create an even more enchanting and soft beautiful scene. It is an ideal leisure destination for your weekend getaways. Inside, there are numerous amusement facilities such as the Rocket Ship, Space Spider, Pirate Ship, Space Mountain, Jurassic Adventure, Fantasy World, Bubble Dragon, and Magic Maze. The park also features folk cultural relics exhibitions, Qingfeng Old Street, aerial acrobatics, and Red-Top Troupe performances.
