Linmei Shipan Trail

The Linmei Shipan Trail, located just a ten-minute drive from Jiaoxi Township, sits beside the Xueshan Mountain Range. It's renowned as 'Yilan's Mini Taroko Gorge' due to its magnificent canyon landscape. The trail is 1.7 kilometers long, features a gentle elevation, and has a wide, flat path. This was once an old path used by early residents for transporting timber and drawing water. Today, as you walk along it, you can still see ancient aqueduct ruins and lush subtropical forests. Along the way, vibrant ferns and tree ferns interweave to form natural shade, making it an excellent secret spot to escape the summer heat and city hustle.
