Meilun Mountain

Meilun Mountain is 108 meters high and is a landmark of Hualien City. From the elevated Cijhih Park, one can overlook Hualien City. The park features a children's playground, hiking trails, an old LDT103 locomotive on display, and a seismograph exhibition room. This mechanical Wiechert seismograph, activated in 1933, was replaced by a new electromagnetic seismograph and is now honorably retired here.
