Lidao

Lidao is a Bunun tribal village located in the eastern section of the Southern Cross-Island Highway (approximately near kilometer 177 of Provincial Highway No. 20). The village is situated on a river terrace surrounded by mountains. Most residents make a living by cultivating tea and high-altitude vegetables. From the highway, one can see red-tiled houses neatly arranged and vibrant green fields. In the mornings, clouds and mist gently swirl, and in the evenings, the sunset glow is magnificent. The beauty of this mountain village and its pastoral scenery is like an idyllic paradise. Homestays offer accommodation and dining services.
