Xiao Liuqiu, located southwest of Donggang in Pingtung County, is Taiwan's only coral reef island among its offshore islands. The 'Beauty Cave' is an intriguing historical site, and the island's most renowned tourist attraction, 'Black Ghost Cave,' boasts a unique landscape that leaves visitors in awe. Additionally, there's 'Habanwan,' known as Xiao Liuqiu's Venice Beach, and Zhong'ao Beach, suitable for swimming and snorkeling, among others. The sea journey to Xiao Liuqiu takes about 30 minutes, making transportation very convenient. On the island, you can explore the tourist attractions by taking the island-hopping bus or renting a scooter or bicycle along the island-circling road and an inland road that traverses the island. The full tour takes about 1-2 hours. Alternatively, you can take the Xiao Liuqiu underwater sightseeing submarine from Baisha Port to explore the mysterious underwater world, which takes about 30 minutes. Public Transportation: Take the HSR to Zuoying Station or the TRA to Xinzuoying Station. Then transfer to Taiwan Tourist Shuttle 9127D Dapeng Bay - Liuqiu Route (accessible service requires reservation) and get off at Dongliu Line Pier Station. Then transfer to a ferry to Liuqiu Station (ferry ride approximately 30 minutes).
