The cultural park currently comprises three buildings—a museum, a library, and a concert hall—along with beautiful and exquisite gardens, spanning an area of over 5,000 pings. The museum's basement houses the Chiayi City Koji Pottery Museum, while the first to fourth floors feature various exhibition rooms. The library is equipped with reading rooms, audiovisual rooms, and book stacks. The concert hall features dedicated seating for 1,113 people. Its stage curtain is designed with "Lotus Pond," a work by national painting master Lin Yu-shan, and is hand-woven from silk satin. The pond on the north side of the concert hall was used for soaking and storing timber during the Japanese colonial period, in conjunction with the Alishan Forest Railway transport. It was also known as "Fir Pond." At that time, trees planted around the pond created dense shade, inviting people to leisurely fish beneath them. "Fishing in the Cypress Pond" was once one of the Eight Sceneries of Chulo.
