Jiujiu Peaks is a renowned tourist attraction within Nantou County, located on the north bank of the Wu River. Many parallel peaks can be clearly seen from the Shuangdong section of Provincial Highway 14A. This is one of Taiwan's three famous flame mountain (Huoyanshan) landforms, alongside Sanyi Huoyanshan and Liugui Eighteen Arhats Mountain. At the foot of the mountain, there are camping areas and an ecological art park.
