Dongpu Hot Spring

Dongpu is a Bunun tribal village renowned for its hot springs and beautiful mountain scenery. It is situated on the bank of the Chenyulan River and marks the starting point of the Batongguan Historic Trail. The hot spring water is a weakly alkaline carbonic acid spring, with a pH value of 7.7 and a temperature of approximately 53 degrees Celsius. The water is clear. The spring water emerges from the valley stream, naturally gushing forth from rock crevices and gravel layers, creating a spectacle of boiling steam. The spring water is then diverted to inns and hotels, offering visitors a hot spring experience.
