Tianwei Highway Garden

The Tianwei Highway Garden refers to the section of Provincial Highway No. 1 that spans across Tianwei and Yongjing townships, boasting a wide variety of flowers. The 'Chrysanthemum City That Never Sleeps' is the most distinctive feature of this highway. To accommodate the chrysanthemums' 'short-day' characteristic, flower farmers must use nighttime lighting to control their blooming period. Every evening, as dusk falls, hundreds of lights along both sides of the highway create a magnificent spectacle, illuminating the area throughout the night and transforming the garden into a city that never sleeps. The peak season for visitors to the Highway Garden is from December to February of the following year.
